OSHA is inviting public comments on a new heat injury and illness protection standard. OSHA needs to hear from YOU about why heat protections are needed and what should be included. Your comments will make a difference in OSHA’s decision-making.
OSHA needs to hear workers’ stories and experiences with heat in the workplace, and what workers need to be safe. Extreme heat is harmful to both indoor and outdoor workers. It is especially dangerous for newer workers, or workers who are returning, because their bodies are not yet used to the higher temperatures. Share your thoughts as clearly and forcefully as you can.
